Is there any kind of physical therapy, massage therapy used? My problem is the muscle pain of sitting at the computer all day. As others have this issue in a way that will be covered by health insurance.

Massage therapy can be loaded in manual therapy, physical therapy ... but part of a comprehensive program designed with the objectives assigned to a larger range of motion and strength, etc.
ReplyDeleteIn most cases, massage therapy is only masking the real root of the problem (usually a bad posture, stress or derrangement cervical spine). Physical therapy should be the goal of alleviating the root of the problem. However, massage therapy may, as part of a program of benefit ... say I am so used to allow the patient to tolerate the exercises or correction procedures. They must also demonstrate their potential to have solved the problem or switch to a program to manage pain unrelated to exercise at home.
If you is not a continuous regular massage, what he calls "maintenece" therapy and is not covered by insurance either.
